Too much walkin’
Published September 26th, 2003 in UncategorizedI decided to stay in the city today and dragged my mom downtown. Once we were both sick of the people in Union Square, which wasn’t long, we we decided to walk into China Town.
As usual the market has a ton of dried up stinky sea things. For example, dried sea horse. What does one do with that? Hey would you like a nice bowl of sea horse soup? YUCK!
I shot a bunch of photos with my Nikon, but for some reason neglected to shoot any with my digital at that point.
We kept moving and made it to North Beach. We started smelling food which was more appealing to us, and decided to stop at a wonderful delicatessen on Columbus. The turkey sandwich was excellent! It was too close to dinner and decided to share the sandwich to be sure not to ruin our appetites.
We continued on and made it almost to the Wharf. This is when I decided it was time to take the cable car back to Union Square, this was a first for both of us.
Now were back home and both of us are up for a good nap!
