Not too long ago Nicole and I decided it was a good idea to set aside one day a week where we could spend some time together. We are both rather busy and this helps us put that stuff aside and enjoy the city and each other.

Well tonight was my night and once again I was late! I didn’t hit the driveway until 6:45 pm, so I parked, ran quickly up to the flat to change, and scoot Nicole into the car so we could rush off to see this seasons exhibit at the SF MOMA for half off thursdays. ( hey, just because it’s date night doesn’t mean you can take discounts… )

Now after driving around in circles trying to avoid a boat load of idiots and find parking for 45 minutes, we both decided to forgo the cultural event and head straight for dinner. I thought tapas and fine brew at the Thirsty Bear was a darn good idea, and it was. We were though with our food and drink around 9:45 and home in our flat by 10:10.

Of course, I felt it was necessary to get some work done on my computer, while others believe a good night’s sleep is best. Ahh who needs sleep when you have Peet’s on your side?
