City Ride…
Published September 4th, 2004 in CyclingNicole and I just got back from a pretty nice ride in the city. We went though the park out to ocean, then out around Lake Merced. When we got back to the park entrance, Nicole suggested instead of going straight home we head up the hill into the Persidio. Now if you have been on the Great Highway you know that the climb up by the Cliff House is pretty steep. Well with the heat and the sun beating down on us, which is rather rare in San Francisco during the summer, I was drenched in sweat at the top of the hill. By the time we were done we racked up about 24 miles, which is pretty good considering she’s suppose to be tapering a bit for her triathalon.
