Electoral-Vote.com
Published November 2nd, 2004 in PoliticsA co-worker just pointed me in the direction of electoral-vote.com, which has a very neat layout of the current polls for each state and how the votes land.
After poking around the site for a bit, I found the mastermind behind this wonderful site was Andrew Tanenbaum. Now most of you may ask, “Who the hell is Andrew Tanenbaum!” Well if you one of the lucky ones who suffered though an undergraduate degree in Computer Science then I�m pretty sure you may have nightmares once you peek at this image.
If Linus Torvalds was the father of Linux, Andy T was the grandfather - he was the guy who wrote Minix.
Oh, and he has done other stuff as well. I guess this also qualifies as “other stuff”
Yes, yes. But memories of that book, well an earlier edition, is so deeply engraved in my head…
