Open wireless network…
Published December 26th, 2004 in GeekWell it looks as if one of my Mom’s neighbors has a wireless access point hooked up to either DSL or Cable. The throughput isn’t great, but at least I am able to check email with out having to use dialup. Pretty sweet if you ask me…

Yes, it was nice not to have to resort to dial-up service.
