About 15 minutes ago everyone started pulling their instruments out to begin a long night of bluegrass. This was my sign to pull out my laptop and get ready to step back in time, blow the dust out of that built in modem and try to stomach dialup.
Well I was pleasantly surprised to find […]
Nicole and I are headed up to Tahoe tomorrow for Snowgrass. It’s basically a bunch of the San Francisco Bluegrass rednecks heading up for a skiing weekend in the mountains. All good fun, just as long as you bring y’er own bottle of bourbon and axe! [btw, an axe is also know as a […]
As you may or may not know I’m addicted to Rhapsody. Well I listen to the Downtempo ‘Radio’ stream a lot and this is where I have been picking up some interesting CDs. Tonight my recommendation is Mr Scruff - Trouser Jazz. If you subscribe to Rhapsody, then take a listen.
I was talking with Christopher this past weekend about how he tries to get one task done each day. He claims this makes him more productive than most people on average. After this week at work I am starting to agree with him, and beginning to think this may be a good practice.

This proposal doesn’t stop spammers from cluttering your comment […]
Disappointing Secretary of State Conformation Hearings
0 Comments Published January 19th, 2005 in PoliticsOver the past two days I have been listening to the confirmation hearings for Condoleezza Rice’s nomination as secretary of state. I have to say I’m been pretty disappointed in a lot of our Senators questions and statements. Most are playing softball and stating that they have extreme reservations with the nomination, but will […]
I recently updated to MoveableType 3.14. As before the template styles are pretty boring. After doing a little surfing around, I ran into this Krubrik template set.
I have done a few modifications to get the layout to look a bit better in the Archive views, but still plan on doing more […]
Because even if you are stuck in one of the largest storms Tahoe has seen in quite some time, you can go from here:
to here:
in under 4 hours.
You can see more images of what mother nature has done to the Sierras over the past week here.
