Shackteau Baus gets much needed upgrade…
Published March 31st, 2005 in TechnologyIt looks as if Christopher has finally received his new wireless router to replace the old one we have bitching about all winter! You may see only a $60 piece of plastic and silicon, but to me it’s pure gold. No more, “Man would you buy a new router?! This pile of shit is all screwed up, I can’t stay connected for more than 10 minutes at a time.”
And for that $60 Christopher no longer has to listen to me complain.
Now we just need to get an espresso machine for that kitchen! My choice would be the orange model.
I was wondering why getting to your page was flaky at times. I haven’t had any problems with Linksys stuff, but I know some people who have.
Owen,
My site is currently hosed by cwihosting, the server which my domain is on crashed about 2 weeks ago. It took them about 2 days to get it back up and running, but the performance has been slightly better than shitty since. I’m actively looking around for another hosting services, and have been considering a dedicated server solution.
Have any suggestions?
Chad
When I was doing my own vanity domain, I originally hosted it off of my own Sparcstation connected via Speakeasy DSL. I got tired of being even my own sysadmin, and rented an account at he.net.
I have no complaints with them, that I recall.
