New wheels…
Published May 20th, 2005 in Food and Wine, CyclingI finally broke down and bought myself a new road bike on Sunday. After test riding about 9 different bikes I decided on the Orbea Onix. The only problem is it’s now Friday and I still haven’t been able to get out for a ride. The weather in San Francisco has been a bit unusual for this time of year, we are still receiving a bunch of rain. Enough that Heavenly claims they have maintained a 5′ base, but of course none resorts are open.
Anyway, it looks as if the sun may stay out long enough today to squeeze in a quick ride. Which is good that bike is screaming to be ridden, and I really need to work off last nights dinner. Nicole took me to Clementine to celebrate my birthday, we highly recommend it.
(The restaurant, not my birthday… Although I highly recommend celebrating my birthday as well…)
Damn dude, that’s a nice bike. You must be burning up the miles.
Yeah, it’s a bit more than I was planning on. But with the amount of time I spend in the saddle these days I should get my monies worth.
